Elon Musk Looks To Integrate Social Media Platform X With xAI

Recently, in an interview, Elon Musk stated that he is looking to integrate his artificial intelligence startup, xAI, with social media platform X. Apart from that, the AI will also come with a standalone app. Elon Musk also said that xAI also released its first AI model, which is a bot named Grok. This bot has been available to X Premium+ subscribers since Friday.

Musk made this move six months after calling a halt to the development of AI. Just last week, he told the British PM Rishi Sunak that AI is one of the most disruptive forces in history. He added that AI can do everything and can make employment a thing of the past.

According to Reuters.com,

?The startup aims to create AI tools that ‘assist humanity in its quest for understanding and knowledge’ and that Grok has been designed to answer questions with a bit of wit. Musk who has criticized Big Tech’s AI efforts as ridden with censorship, in July launched xAI, calling it a “maximum truth-seeking AI” that tries to understand the nature of the universe to rival Google’s (GOOGL.O) Bard and Microsoft’s (MSFT.O) Bing AI.?

As per the statements of xAI, Grok comes with a number of features. One of the most unique and fundamental advantages of this bot is that it has real-time knowledge of the world with the help of the X platform. The xAI team also reported that the bot will also answer ?spicy? questions, which most other AI systems reject.

X, formerly known as Twitter, is a social media firm that works closely with xAI, which Musk also owns. Apart from that, even Elon Musk?s Tesla works with xAI for various integrations.
